What's with the orange ribbons? |
Gratitude with Attitude Thank you Rep. Stephanie Tubbs-Jones, and Senator Barbara Boxer for challenging Ohio's electoral votes. Thanks to all 31 members of the House of Representatives who voted for the challenge. Thanks also to your hard-working staff members. Thank you Rep. John Conyers, Jr. and the House Judiciary Committee Democratic Staff for your hard work bringing the problems in the Ohio election to light, and for your ongoing investigation of the election. Thank you to Richard Hayes Phillips, Ph.D. for your tireless investigation of the Ohio election, for your commitment and your trust. Please note that Richard is, according to the Attorney General of Ohio, "apparently better known as a poet" than an election investigator. You can get to know him as both at his website: http://web.northnet.org/minstrel. Thank you to all the members of our investigation team, including: Brian S. Julin (2);"C"; Coleen Christensen; Ellis Goldberg; Jim O'Hara; Marty Hiller, Ph.D.; Roman Sasik; Steve Santamaria; Steven Elias; Tom Brouillette; and others who choose to remain anonymous. Thank you to the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland, California for putting the truth up in lights! Thank you to the dedicated volunteers and staff members of Election Protection Coalition, especially in the Albuquerque office. When I say, "I worked with you at the last election," I hope to mean in the most recent election, not the final one. Thank you to all those who voted despite absurd obstacles placed in your paths, and those who committed the crime of "attempted voting," [Remember: When voting is outlawed, only outlaws will vote!] Thank you to the activists, investigators and academics who have brought and continue to bring the public the truth about electronic voting technology. Thank you to Cliff Arnebeck, Bob Fitrakis, Peter Peckarsky and Susan Truitt as well as Rev. Bill Moss and all the plaintiffs in Moss v. Bush for their dedicated work to stop the theft of Ohio's election. Thank you to those involved in reporting the real news, from Amy Goodman to Ray Beckerman. May your voices become louder than those of Faux News. Thank you to all of you who are working in whatever ways you can to restore not only the country's faith in our election system but the basis for that faith: fair elections. And to all the truth-tellers, whistle-blowers, precinct-walkers, activists and investigators still digging for the whole truth. Thank you to our foremothers and forefathers whose hard work and huge sacrifices gave to us the right to vote that today we struggle to retain. |
